When building AhoraCuba.com, we tried to keep things as simple as possible, to make it easier for visitors to find what they're looking for. On this page, you can find answers to the most commonly asked questions about the website.
How can I find a post about topic x?
A list of all topics (or "tags") can be found under the "Topics" link at the top of the site. If one of us has discussed a topic in one of our entries, it'll be found there. If not, you can always use the search form to narrow your search.
How do I leave a comment?
At the end of every post is an "add new comment" link. When leaving a comment, you'll need to leave your name and email address. You can also leave a link to your home page, if you like. Finally, to prevent spam, you'll be presented with an image containing letters and/or numbers, which you'll be required to enter into a text field. This is called a "captcha" and helps limit spam attacks.
Note that this only applies if you haven't registered as a user on the site yet - if you have, you won't need to enter a captcha. Also, until you've registered, your comment won't be posted until we manually approve it, which could take anywhere from 20 minutes to 12 hours, depending on how lazy / available we are. Registered users see their comments posted immediately.
What is the aggregator?
The AhoraCuba! aggregator is a service we provide where you can read blog posts from other Cuban bloggers, off the AhoraCuba! website.
The blogs we choose to aggregate are based on the ones we feel are least politically oriented.
